Depending on the urgency of your request, there are several ways of contacting the Ministry of Labour and people who can help you with problems.

  • If it is an occupational health and safety emergency, complaint or a serious incident, contact your local Ministry of Labour office.

There are call centres for other labour matters, including publications and information of a general nature.

  • Occupational health and safety matters, call 1-800-268-8013 from anywhere in Ontario (416-326-7770 in the GTA).
  • If it is an employment rights question, call 1-800-531-5551 (416-326-7160 in the GTA).

You can also come in person to any ServiceOntario Centre.


If you have a question where the response is not urgent, you can send your question by email.
